I once thought that to impress them would bring me happiness—now I wonder why I waited so long to realize that it was only I who could bring me happiness?

But yes, Ola, what great commentary.

I wonder, though, is happiness not possible with some minds?

I guess then happiness would be a matter of semantics—what exactly is happiness; is it some quick delight brought on, as you say, with a well-timed or considerate gift; a lover’s unconditional appreciation for how you make him/her feel being with you; I mean, is happiness some quick feeling of joy or excitement—usually being dependent on external triggers (conditional), or is it something more lasting and not so dependent (unconditional and self-produced) of external stimuli?

What brings me happiness. Yes, we're the main source of it, no doubt. Not to pay attention on insults, not to pay attention on the weather, the cutting down of salary at work, the leaving 'friends', and it's a long long list. We're to be strong, full of radiating energy that will simply or not that simply will englulf the above listed discrepencies. It's like every morning, you gotta make a list not to be affected by some treacherous unexpected things. And when you read that list early in the morning, i noticed, by coincidence or by not, all those misfortunes, destined to rob you from happiness, happen to you. Take it as a test, staying "pretty and witty and gaaaay".

But there're some outside factors of course as a bonus to make us happy. What can be better as a not just a friend but just a person to chat on the same wavelength. Yes, on the same wavelentgh as so many people who just use you as a "garbage can" to unload all their problems and when you open your mouth to say something about yourself, they just cut you off. Or just sarcastically pointing out about your achievements and hard tries instead of sharing about their strives and goals. But truly there're the unique matches, mutual ones and that, for sure, feed your happiness long time after the convesation is gone. See how powerful it is, being kind, understanding able to listen, asking questions, getting interested... in people. That brings happiness too.
