There seems to be a force—a wind or current, perhaps—that is behind each of us—pushing us into unforeseen paths.  Is this Destiny; is there a force such as Destiney that pushes us towards an ultimate end that is beyond our control to change, or is it possible for us to change or even defy this force?  Can a strong wind be forced to change its direction; can a mighty river be controlled and manipulated to change its path, and does changing the natural—the true direction  of a force—does this change defy its intended end, or does any such attempts simply delay its naturally assigned end?  Are our destinies sealed by unchangeable forces?
