I had read someone’s introduction profile that was asking to chat with a real “vet”. I had assumed that this person wanted to correspond with a “real” vet as in “veteran”—a war vet.  It wasn’t until I had read more of this person’s profile that I realized that maybe this person was asking for a “real” vet as in “veterinarian”.  I guess I had inferred that this person meant “vet” as in veteran only because of where this person stated that he/she was from.  I don’t like it when I stereotype others—and that is what I did.  I am sorry.
