What can we do?

(The "Pulitzer prize" winning photo was taken in 1994 during the Sudan famine. The picture depicts a famine striken child crawling towards an United Nations food camp, located a kilometre away. The vulture is waiting for the child to die so that it can eat it. This picture shocked the whole world. No one knows what happened to the child, including the photographer Kevin Carter who left the place as soon as the photograph was taken. Three months later he comitted suicide due to depression)

When i saw the picture I was shocked...Is it really a human being like me? what's the difference between me and this poor little child?

All around the world there are lots of people who are living in poverty. They are everywhere, in my country, in your country, everywhere...

We are that much immersed in OUR lives that we hardly think about those people who are so poor that can't even have something to eat...

sometimes I think what would happen if I were  like them? If i had no place to live and nothing to eat? 

Sometimes I ask myself How can I help them?

And then I can find no answer

I don't have that much money to give them...
