We have lost even this twilight. No one saw us this evening hand in hand while the blue night dropped out of the world. I have seen from my window the fiesta of sunset in the distant mountain tops. Sometimes a piece of sun burned like a coin between my hands. I remembered you with my soul clenched in the sadness of mine that you know. Where were you then? Who else was there? Saying what? Why will the whole of love come on me suddenly when I have sad and feel you are far away? The book fell that is always turned to at twilight and my cape rolled like a hurt dog at my feet. Always, always you recede through the evenings towards where the twilight goes erasing statues.

Great fun! Last night I took a walk along the river bank, and saw many lanterns, some gliding above the river and some flying high in the sky. The little flames were dancing in the darkness, maybe some one would be able to hear them yelling as well, "Hello, World!". I was just wondering if there was one among them from Russia ;)

Today I visited my relatives, had a barbecue with my cousins and then went fishing with them, which has been a routine for some years. As usual we caught no fish. Actually I really doubt if there are any fish in the pond, we haven't even caught one so far. It is hard to say if I like it. Those activities are so familiar that they don't attract me anymore. But, seeing kids wearing new clothes, chasing through alleys and laughing, happiness is spreading in the air. In such atmosphere it is hard to not like this great festival, as you can feel happiness itself is becoming a custom. However, for me the celebration this year won't last for long, because three days later I have to go back to school for extra lessons. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your winter holiday!

I'm glad that you like them ;) As for me, I was born in 1992, so I'm a monkey. Somehow I don't like monkeys so much, so during my childhood I had been wishing I were a snake or a horse ;-D The celebration will last for almost half a month, from the New Year's Eve to the Lantern Festival (Jan 15th in lunar calendar). Putting the spring festival scrolls up, hanging the lanterns, having the reunion meals, having dumplings, sitting up late and waiting for the ring of the New Year are all the Spring Festival’s custom. During the half month, firecrackers, fireworks display, lion dance and dragon dance are necessary activities. The rest depends on local customs, here we have flower bridge, flower market, clay sculpture show and local opera. Sometimes we fly Kongming Lanterns too (warn: don't do that in Russia, it will cause forest fire. We are not afraid though, because we have no forest to burn ;)).

You're right! I'm glad that you liked the picture.

BTW, I've got your comments, thank you! ^_^

Now I try  every minute of my free time to devote to reading. Unfortunately, rather often, I have to read books by English speaking authors in Russian. In that case I find excerpts from these books on the Internet.

I wish you the best year!

The news that Tracy McGrady joined the Detroit Pistons must depress at least one million people, those who want him to disappear as soon as possible in their vision, those who want him to be out of work so that they can warn other players "Don't be next McGrady", some Chicago fans who want him to join the Bulls and, of course, some Pistons fans who are already alarmed by the Iverson trade. Anyway, I'm none of them. No matter what others talk about him, he is always one of the NBA players I most appreciate. I have to admit that McGrady wasn't, isn't and won't be a perfect guy, he has many weakness, physically and mentally. But through his sleepy eyes, what I can see is desire, creativity, talent, talent and talent. They are his powerful weapons if used properly. I hope you can overcome all the hardships, Tracy, just escape from the swamp. At present you are at the age of 31, not too old, not young as well, but absolutely not the age of being downhearted. Let's look back the history. In 2004, old McDyess came, just like you, with terrible injuried knees. But because of his hardworking, he has done a good job during the years here and won us Pistons fans' heart. In 2009, the 35-year-old Ben Wallace returned. That guy lost himself in Chicago and Cleveland because of injuries and other unpleasant things. It was such a difficult period that he even had thought of retiring. Luckily he didn't and decided to come back to Detroit. Now he is the starting C of the team and helps a lot in the defensive end. Considered as the most valuable Piston last season, Big Ben proved that he is still one of the best defenders in the league though he is already 36. "Man is not made for defeat. A man can be destroyed but not defeated." I hope the hardships have made you stronger. Detroit Pistons is not a team for those so-called superstars, here we only care about what you are doing instead of what you have done. So, forget all the honors, play as every Piston man does. If you have enough determination and team spirit, no doubt this is the best team for you to join, it will sure refresh you. Now take the chance and make the change, you have the opportunity to prove that you are still the omnipotent T-mac. I expect for a new-born Tracy McGrady.

The Trail Blazers haven't made a big move yet, have they? Wow, it is so exciting! Sadly I couldn't :-( but I will someday. I've never seen a game in person. I watch them on TV. And since there's a big time difference between China and USA, most games play in the morning here when we have to go to school or work. So sometimes I just skipped school to watch some important games, it was so crazy, lol.

From tomorrow on, I will be a happy man; Grooming, chopping, and traveling all over the world. From tomorrow on, I will care foodstuff and vegetable, Living in a house towards the sea, with spring blossoms. From tomorrow on, write to each of my dear ones, Telling them of my happiness, What the lightening of happiness has told me, I will spread it to each of them. Give a warm name for every river and every mountain, Strangers, I will also wish you happy. May you have a brilliant future. May you lovers eventually become spouse. May you enjoy happiness in this earthly world. I only wish to face the sea, with spring flowers blossoming.

Thanks Emi. There's nothing serious, they are just some bad moods that easily come and easily go. I will take care. As for dreams, I agree, sometimes make me painful, but it can't stop me from being a distant dreamer. Maybe I'm just another dumb ;)

From tomorrow, always from tomorrow. Personally, often I had to face this sort of dreams and after a while it starts to be painful, because there is a big gap between them and our real world, which is full of all kinds of borders. But at your age you still have the time and (unlike me, which unfortunately I was a dumb at your age) you can feel the life with a much deeper meaning. Take care! We are friends, but I'm just a fictional character and sadly I can help just through my words. The power that you have can raise the stars back in heaven!

I like reading this poem when I am not happy. Now I'm not having a good day, or, rather, a good night. My tooth aches badly after (yes, it is AFTER) seeing the dentist and the awful medicine smell retain in my mouth. My mom's guests talked loudly in the hall though it was already time to sleep, which really annoyed me. Terrible network is another thing I can't stand. My summer vacation comes to an end. Tomorrow I have to go back to school, learning boring things and meeting stupid people. I decided to move in the school dorm from home, though I don't like it at all. Tonight I hate everything. Hope I can get rid of all those bad feelings tomorrow. Good night to myself.
