We have lost even this twilight.
No one saw us this evening hand in hand
while the blue night dropped out of the world.
I have seen from my window
the fiesta of sunset in the distant mountain tops.
Sometimes a piece of sun
burned like a coin between my hands.
I remembered you
with my soul clenched
in the sadness of mine that you know.
Where were you then?
Who else was there?
Saying what?
Why will the whole of love come on me suddenly
when I have sad and feel you are far away?
The book fell that is always turned to at twilight
and my cape rolled like a hurt dog at my feet.
Always, always you recede through the evenings
towards where the twilight goes erasing statues.

The news that Tracy McGrady joined the Detroit Pistons must depress at least one million people, those who want him to disappear as soon as possible in their vision, those who want him to be out of work so that they can warn other players "Don't be next McGrady", some Chicago fans who want him to join the Bulls and, of course, some Pistons fans who are already alarmed by the Iverson trade.
Anyway, I'm none of them. No matter what others talk about him, he is always one of the NBA players I most appreciate. I have to admit that McGrady wasn't, isn't and won't be a perfect guy, he has many weakness, physically and mentally. But through his sleepy eyes, what I can see is desire, creativity, talent, talent and talent. They are his powerful weapons if used properly.
I hope you can overcome all the hardships, Tracy, just escape from the swamp. At present you are at the age of 31, not too old, not young as well, but absolutely not the age of being downhearted. Let's look back the history. In 2004, old McDyess came, just like you, with terrible injuried knees. But because of his hardworking, he has done a good job during the years here and won us Pistons fans' heart. In 2009, the 35-year-old Ben Wallace returned. That guy lost himself in Chicago and Cleveland because of injuries and other unpleasant things. It was such a difficult period that he even had thought of retiring. Luckily he didn't and decided to come back to Detroit. Now he is the starting C of the team and helps a lot in the defensive end. Considered as the most valuable Piston last season, Big Ben proved that he is still one of the best defenders in the league though he is already 36.
"Man is not made for defeat. A man can be destroyed but not defeated." I hope the hardships have made you stronger.
Detroit Pistons is not a team for those so-called superstars, here we only care about what you are doing instead of what you have done. So, forget all the honors, play as every Piston man does. If you have enough determination and team spirit, no doubt this is the best team for you to join, it will sure refresh you.
Now take the chance and make the change, you have the opportunity to prove that you are still the omnipotent T-mac.
I expect for a new-born Tracy McGrady.

From tomorrow on, I will be a happy man;
Grooming, chopping, and traveling all over the world.
From tomorrow on, I will care foodstuff and vegetable,
Living in a house towards the sea,
with spring blossoms.
From tomorrow on,
write to each of my dear ones,
Telling them of my happiness,
What the lightening of happiness has told me,
I will spread it to each of them.
Give a warm name for every river and every mountain,
Strangers, I will also wish you happy.
May you have a brilliant future.
May you lovers eventually become spouse.
May you enjoy happiness in this earthly world.
I only wish to face the sea, with spring flowers blossoming.
