Irene, I used to love roaming in this area of Kiev. Kiev is a beautiful city with a rich history. The country where i live is 200 years. Kiev is more than 1500. It has it's own historical vibes that keeps you in awe while walking along its streets. I miss those weekends walks though. Replaced them with something new and totally different. Anyway, have a good week ahead!!!

That's great to have a week of days off in Ukraine. We don't have such luxury here in Belarus.

1st of May is the only day we have a day off.

The great celebration 1st of May in the epoch of  USSR has almost gone. We don't celebrate it with such enthusiasm like we did in ex-USSR times. ;)
