Boconó is a wonderful city located the Andean mountain chain.. Boconó is to 1.225 meters on the level of the sea. It is a picturesque place and it has a pleasant climate, a delicious gastronomy, a beautiful crafts and very agreeable people. The buildings preserve the colonial style and them presents a village that remained caught in the time. Nowadays in Boconó live around 70.000 people.
In Boconó you can find many wonderful landscapes and a great variety of flowers, for this reason, it is called the Venezuela´s garden.
Near bocono you find the National Park GUARAMACAL, this park has a very cold climate. Also in the park you can find a beautiful lagoon and listen to the sound of the birds and the nature. To come to the park you must take rustic cars, but the tour is incredible because you have the opportunity to observe the whole city from the mountain.
Another curious place of this city is The Museum Trapiche de los Clavo. It was an estate that was restored for the rescue and conservation of Boconó's historical and cultural patrimony. There you can know how it is the process of sowing, crop and industrialization, both of the sugar cane and of the coffee in the trujillana region.
