Man from this time

Syrian Arab Republic

July 20, 2012

Al-salaam 'alaikum,

After one hour is the time when I’m going to break my fast, it is the first day in The Holy month of Ramadan, it was a long day actually, but Ramadan this year has a special test, the day is long, the night is short. Ramadan this year is the longest in its time of fasting, we are fasting about 16 hours, which make it more challenging, I’m feeling a little hungry now. Let’s take advantages of this month by increasing the good deeds.

Well, according to the people who are with the Syrian revolution, Today (Friday) is the first day of Ramadan. While for people who support the dictator Assad, tomorrow (Saturday) is the first day.

I just wonder, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and many of surrounded countries announced that Friday is the first day of Ramadan, because they have sighted the new moon being born in the sky. So, what is the wrong with Assad that he announced that Ramadan is at Saturday??????

It is very wired and odd, if Syria were in other continent, then we would say that the moon has not been sighted in this spot of the earth, but we are talking about Syria which lies in the Middle East, and the whole surrounded countries are going to fast. So, why Syria want to make a split??????

Maybe because Saudi Arabia and Qatar have announced that it is Friday, so Assad wants to make a “split” and to challenge these countries, because they are political differences between Saudi Arabia and Qatar on one hand and Syria and Iran on other hand.

Welcome Ramadan the moth of patience, charity, mercy and solidarity. I’m going to recharge the battery of faith, in this month. Thank you Allah for giving us this month.
