Thanks a lot for all lovely wishes and amazing pictures which made my days every time I got your lovely visits to my page. You are a very sweet girl.♥

I'm not sure if Indonesians celedrate Easter or not. So, I abstain from greetings yet.

I love this holy holiday and always go a church, visit my family and bake many Easter cakes which are very delicious. We celebrate Easter on the 5th of May this year.

Wish you all happy days with lots of smiles and many sweet people around you.

P.S. In my country people celebrate two Easters and two Christmases ( Catholic Easter and the Orthodox Easter). We are lucky :-)

I'm an Orthodox hence our Easter will be on 5th of May :)))

Anyway, Orthodox people always give an Easter's wishes to the Catholic friends or colleagues :))))

It is clear that the favorite topic we are talking about these days is the colorful season, spring!! Our glossary, surely will never dry up due to such topic. Since, easily it is able to stimulate our brain to MANIPULATE LANGUAGE by making a sequence of analogies...push the boundaries in using language including the aspects of language, particularly morphology, syntax and semantics. One reason to say that is we interact one another mainly through visual language.

This phenomena tends to make us being more poetic. The words we use or select to construct sentences logically come from our prior vocabularies or the new ones. And both completely are resulted from others sources. In this case, I might say, the great philosophers, poets, writers and inspirators,  namely: Plato, William shakespeare, Alexander Pushkin, Khalil Gibran, Rabindranath Tagore, Victor Hugo, Mark Twain and many others. (May I know your favorite?)

Relating to what I wrote above, the brilliantly successful course book writer L.G. Alexander famously said:

Nothing should be spoken before it has been heard
Nothing should be read before it has been spoken
Nothing should be written before it has been read

In conclusion we are all products of learning teaching activities!!!

Thus, let's celebrate the freedom of the use of language as tool of communication in this CYBER WORLD!!!:))

Hi, Marice.

Our ancestors used to believe that the first birds as skylarks were flying back from 'the other world' and they were leading after them 40 birds carrying the srping on their wings. That was a real holiday when people spotted skylarks. They even baked bread in the shape of birds on that occasion and to attract srping as well. There used to be a tradition also to jump over the bonfire. But that was close to May.
