Japan

March 26, 2012

In Japan, Many things- such as school and company start from April.

So many people move house at the end of March.

A week ago in my apartment, someone moved to next to my room and he makes some noise knocking something.

I’m not sure what he is doing in next room but the noise seems to run on.

I think the way of dealing with noisy neighbor is different depending on the country.

If you were in the same situation, what do you do to deal with that?  Personally, I’ll have a talk with him if the noise will not be stopped.

Hi there!

Well, no matter what I would politely introduce myself so I could meet the person and see what  he is like. It would also start a friendly relationship so this issue could be addressed in a calm, polite manner.

You csn just tell him that the walls are pretty thin in the building, and that noise can be a problem, especially when people are moving in. He might get that hint. Otherwise, maybe is he just unpacking or moving things around and the nosie will soon stop.

I have been in situations like this before, and it usually ceases after a couple of days.

Anyhow, being polite is always the best way to handle anything. :)
