It has been a long time since my last trip to climb mountains. Yesterday, I went to hills with my friends, that the spot is at Acheng District, near to Harbin. It is about 25 miles from Harbin. After a one hour and a harf trip, we arrived at Hengtoushan National Forest Park, it is a new park in Harbin, and the main entertainment is climbing. For us, who live in urban buildings, less wild life experience, live under tall building around area, face to crowd, hear noise, breath harmful gas, those all make us dull. So it is a great chance for us to have a relax in the forest.
Hengtoushan is a part of Changbaishan mountain, the height is 737 metres, if you are in the sky to have a bird's eye view, you will see that the figure Hengtoushan hill just like an human ear, it is really interesting. At the corner of the hill, our guider told us it would take our 1.5 hours to reach to the top of the hill. Though it was very hot, you feeled cool when you under trees on your way to the top. There were many kinks of species of trees on the hill. Their shapes and poses were different too. One tree was similar with phoenix, and two tree were look like a couple, they made you amazing the nature power. It was just a nature oxygen bar, also lung of the city Harbin. Some places of the hill were dangerous, it needed teamwork to get rid of it, we reached top while having a good view of scenery, we lost part of our energe. Ater it, we drove to the feet of hill, and went to two trees who have above 1000 years old, the dragon tree and the phoenix tree. They were so big, and they were protected well.
Time flied fast, it was afternoon after climbing, so we went to Hongxing Reservoir to have our lunch, it was a good meal, fresh fish soup gave us very special feelings, and the landscape besides Hongxing Reservior was like grassland, so many cows and sheeps on it, what a beautiful landscape, it made you comfortable.
We nearly forgot our time there, the sunset told us to leave, at this time I began to realize that we had to go, but the day would always be a wonderful day in my summer vacation, hope to be there again, I love my mountain climbing trip.

Every May 5th in lunar calendar is Dragon Boat Festival, it is a Chinese traditional festival, it has more than 2000 years' history nowadays. So if you are foreigners, you should wanna know what is it? Is it special? How to celebrate it?
Yes, your question is mine. One of the explanation is that the Dragon Boat Festival monumentalizes Qu Yuan, a Chinese poet, most greatest poet in China, not only in ancient but also in present. 2000 years ago, Qu Yuan was so sad about his country which was defeated by Qin period, and then he jumped into Minluo River on May 5th in lunar calendar. And then the Dragon Boat Festival came out.
From last year, the Chinese Government made it into public holiday, so that people can celebrate this day when they are free, and the Chinese traditional culture can go on generation by generation. When the Dragon Boat Festival comes, we eat rice dumplings and eggs, we hold dragon boat match, wear 5 colors' thread and other Chinese traditional accouterments.
Yesterday, I went up at 5:00 am, then went to riverside of Songhuajiang. So many crowds were there, most of them came to riverside in last evening, some of them took their tents , waited until dawn, when the sun raised, people used water in the river to clean their eyes and foreheads, they hoped to have good lucks and avoid all diseases. My mother and I walked along riverbank, bought some paper cucurbit, watched dragon boats. It was excited. When I came back home, it was already 9:00 am, I ate some eggs and rice dumplings. It is delicious!
Rice dumpling is the most popular food on that day, there are many flavours in it. For instance, Chinese date, red bean, pork etc. What is your favourite flavour? Rice dumpling can make by yourself or buy in supermarket or shopping mall which is deepfreezed.
Oh, I forgot one part of my words, I said that people wore 5 colors' thread on that day, but when we put it off? After the first rain after that day. Keep on focusing on it! You'll love it!

I am shocked by the earthquake happened in south China. I was born in 1980s, I've never seen such a big earthquake before. Yesterday I just came back to my sit in front of my computer, at the same time, a QQ message came out, it said that an earthquake had happened at 2:28 PM. The southern part to Yunnan Province , the northern part to Beijing, the eastern part to Shanghai they all could feel the shake, so I suddenly realised that it must be a big earthquake, I shouted out, Oh my god , I counld not believe it was true. I looked at my watch, it was about 2:40 PM. About 3 PM, a news said that the earthquake was 7.8-magnitude as big as it happened in Tangshan ,1976. and the epicentre was Wenchuan county in Sichuan Province. From that time, I began to focus on the earthquake. Until 7 PM today, the death roll was more than 12,000 and there were still many people disappeared. The rescuers were searching for alive people all the time. But in Sichuan Province, there was a heavy rain, it gave the rescuers a big trouble. I believe our government that has ability to treat with the people in that area and take good care of them. Our premier came to the disaster area one hour after the earthquake. After seeing the pictures of the disaster I almostly weeped. Many of them are too young to be killed by earthquake. Though I'm in the northest Province in China, my classmates and I , our hearts are combined with each other, we gather our powers and make them bigger. And we still need to take care of students whose homes are in the earthquake area and help them with their lives, studies and etc. And now I am still reading news online and watching the newest programme about the earthquake on TV. I have big confidence to government. Now we Chinese are connecting with each other together, and we can get rid of all troubles. I hope people will be OK . Blessing them!
