Can you love someone if you dont love yourself?

loving yourself helps u to love others and vice versa.   sometimes  if u dont love yourself and have no commpassion for yourself  its difficult to love others. At the same time u can love yourself when u love others. We learn to love through our relationships with others. If u can make others happy this will give u  strength and make u  feel well  being. 

people have diffrent ways of geting and giving love.I know  a friend who has some problems in his childhood that he cant love himself but he has a pure heart loves all poeple who r around him.  I think love has no rules.

 Its a good question. Why ?

Its true you can not love someone if you do not love yourself FIRST.
Only when you start loving yourself and
enjoying yourself can you have the 
self-esteem you require to love others.

Some had not accquired the nuture required from tender age.
thus making them feel anxious, worried, unloved etc.

 if u can not love yourself in the first place, then no one can love u.... So if ur saying that you hate yourself, you shouldnt. Everyone should be loving their selves. Like I do....

If you dont love yourself then how u will love another person.

I remember one story when a couple decided to play love. Unfortunately, I don't remember the author and what conditions made them to go on this dangerous venture. But at the end,  one of them who has never been in love in his life, a gamer so called, was head over heels in love with the woman that he  totally couldn't control his feelings. The game was forgotton right away. It can strike you any time and very hard.
