IT DOESN’T GET ANY BETTER!It only gets worst and complex everyday-life. It really isn’t easy to be human, especially in this day and age.I sometimes wonder if truly happy people can be found some were in this damn planet, people absolutely void of worries and cares. Nah! I really doubt cuz everybody seems to be wrapped up in his/her share of troubles, and it seems to keep building up with age.The unfortunate thing is that we worry mostly about things that are just illusions. When we get all beat down by life we tend to think that maybe if we get this and that and that and that and more things, it’ll cheer us up. But it just never works. I remember a wise old king once saying that “vanity upon vanity is all vanity” “Vanity!” he sobbed after getting very thing his heart ever desired only to discover it was all empty, just illusions he thought could make him happy, but obviously it didn’t.  By the way vanity means empty!“If only I could get the ideal looks, or maybe if I had blues eyes, or be slimmer” “if I could get the right clothes-the latest fashion designers and snicks” “if I could get that gal/guy, you know that black beauty on the front page of that magazine, or that tall massive blonde guy” “if I could get a more sophisticated gadget, an iPhone, a new PC” “if I could be the head in the class, if I could be a straight A student, the valedictorian each year” “if I could get that degree” “ If I’ve got that sports car, or that power bike, a speed boat  to call mine” “if I could buy that house””if I could be famous, a superstar or something like it?” The list just continues on and on and on and oooonnnnnnn we think it’ll make us happy if we get things and things……. What an obsessive and greedy culture we have created. And the media have helped in engineering this whole doomed, deceptive culture. Admit it or not, the media commands you around, telling you this is cool, this sucks! Do this, you get this, and you can’t control your sexual drive and all, you can’t do this, you can’t do that, this is disgusting and this is okay. Damn the media, what authority do they have on your life? Why do they have to tell you how to live your life? What you should have? Sexy girls in low cut outfits or maybe even nude, advertising products that don’t even deal with sexuality. Believe me; they will do everything just to get some few bucks off you. “Go get it!” That what they say on commercials. A guy sprays their deodorant and the next thing hot chicks are all over him. What’s that? Do you really think buying that deo will make you get along with gals. “Go have fun, enjoy safe sex” they say, but what they really say is “go kill yourself.” They never show pictures of people dying with sexual transmitted diseases with sores all over their bodies, yuck! They never show you that or teenage mothers struggling to live, or the potentially great people that are murder in abortion clinics. They’ll never show you the truth, just lies, seductive lies. Poker, Seductive dancing on music videos, sex in games, pornography every were you turn that’s the order of the day. They make up lies and try to make you believe in them. They try to get everyone believe in their illusions of cool life, of getting along, and persecute you until you feel oblige to fit in with their views. That is a whole death machine they’re building, they take advantage of your emotions and desires and craves and the emptiness in you. And you never notice until they drive you in to mental and emotional slavery, or get you physical bankrupt with debts. It sure will give some little happiness at first then unbearable miseries and more and even more emptiness, you feel like there is a vacuum inside your life. The best cure for this acidic culture that is eating up our spiritual and moral tissues is to avoid falling in to it at first. How? Think, think- what is real and what  an illusion is. How? Think about the results every action you take could bring in the next 10 secs, 10 mins, 10 hrs, 10 months, and 10 years. C’mon you can do that, it doesn’t take a genius to live life wisely. For example if you want start smoking, what will be the implication for the next 10 mins, not serious, maybe just a stinking mouth, 10 hrs, you get addicted, 10 yrs lungs cancer and bone marrow disease and lots more, 20 yrs you are a goner! Death! Just do a reality check for all of your actions. You are going to need wisdom to navigate through this life with minimal dents. And in this life, there is only one reality, and it lies in the unseen, it lies in eternity, apart from that all other things are illusions. This perishable life is just a preparation of the imperishable life to come after death, if you miss that point then you are trap in an illusions. It’s never too late to correct and restructure your life while you’re still breathing, cuz when you die that’s the end of grace. Think about it. You have this big size hole in your heart, that emptiness that nothing seems to be able to feel it, not gals, not money, not sex, not fame, not drugs, not brains, not nothing. And it’s there and it’s big because only God can fill it, only His love can turn your life around and it is manifested through Jesus Christ, you need just to believe in Him and invite him in, cuz He has been knocking on your heart’s door, let him in.Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my call and opens the door, I will come in and will dine with him and him with Me” Revelation 3:20What really counts for you?
