Well, in my opinion, making some friends is a good way to start! I mean, once you add some friends you'll start a conversation, so you and your friends will send messages to each other talking a little more about your country, your interests, your hobbies...so you'll practice writting, will learn more vocabs and also new information about a lot of things. And, if your friends have skype or msn, you can also practice speaking. 

Oh, don't forget to keep updating your blog, it's a good way to practice too! ^^
