May it never be said of any of us,"He made a living but never lived."Making a living is important but never as an end within itself---only as a means to living.
Life isn't a bed of roses,but it can be a rose garden.It will have some thorns that prick but also a thousand roses to adorn our paths and to provide a delightful aroma. Though life has its pricks,caution will lessen them. Also,gathering a few roses to hand to others will enliven us. And taking time to enjoy the rose-scented air will invigorate us. It is living.
Time hurries past thee like the breeze;
How swift its moments fly,
Make haste, O man! to live.
