Hello!
It is raining here and so cold.
I will write about 'Tochigi Prefecture' where I live today.
'Tochigi' means a horse chest nuts (marronnier in French).
Tochigi has Nikko, one of the famous sightseeing sites.
Nikko Tosyogu is World Heritage.
'Toshogu' is a shinto shrine. It is dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of Tokugawa syougunated. It is the time when the Japanese had still their topknot. It is very gorgeous and colorful!
Tochigi also produces the largest number of strawberries in Japan.
I ate some strawberries made in Tochigi. These are very delicious.
Thank you for your time!
