Hey learners,
I found a wonderful resource the other day, and I just had to share it with you asap. (As soon as possible)
Please go to this link:
http://www.rong-chang.com/eslread/eslread/dict/contents.htm
Instructions: Click on any number. Let's look at number 1.
Hit the arrow button that signifies "play." You will hear the reader dictate a sentence. The first sentence is, "They found an apartment in Arcadia."
Your task is to type exactly what you hear. When you're ready, click on the "check answer"button and compare your sentence to the correct answer.
This task will help you to improve your listening skills, grammar/sentence formation, spelling, etc.
The good news is that the site offers an almost endless supply of dication exercises. I think there are 200 different dictations!
Please check it out. I review a lot of websites and found this one to be highly useful. If you like it, please let me know and I will refer more students to the site.
Happy English!
Heather
