Thoughts From A Future Pilot

I have recently started to take an interest in intelligence or IQ tests if you will. It fascinates me and I love solving those logical problems. But really, has IQ anything to do with how smart you are?
That is a common question and it hasn't really got a yes or no answer. A person with a high IQ doesn't automatically make him or she smart. Yes that person will probably be outstanding when it comes to solving a logical problem such as this one:
Fill in the blanks: 1 2 _ 4 _ 6
But if you ask the same person this question:
When did the WW2 start and end?
It's not certain that the he/she will know the answer just because he/she got a high IQ score. IQ is by no means the same as intelligence and knowledge.
I'd like to take my girlfriend and me for an example. I scored an IQ in the vicinity of 137 (as you can never be certain) at an IQ test while she had around 125 but I reckon that she is way more intelligent than I am. She has more general knowledge, she has more social competence and she always outperform me when we play games like trivial pursuit.
So what do I want to say with all this? To all who thinks they are stupid because they happen to have a low IQ: Intelligence and knowledge is not the same thing as IQ. You can still be smart with a low IQ score. To all who thinks they are smart only becuase of a high IQ score: Stop being so arogant. It takes alot more to be smart than just being able to see some logic in number problems similiar to the one above.
To all: Have a nice and pleasent day!
Cheers!

This entry is mainly aimed at miserable and unhappy souls considering their lives to be a mess.
If you really want to be happy I can help you out by saying one simple but very true sentence.
Make it happen!
No one is really going to help you although there are nice people that can push you in the right direction but in the end you need to take the final step yourself.
You also need to put your life in a perspective. Yes there are people living better lives than you are but there are people living worse lives too. I can guarentee that. How? Well by the simple fact that you are able to read this your life can't be thaaaat bad!
So stop being unhappy and start making your life worth living since no one else is going to do that for you.
Cheers!

Guns, firearms, rifles, pistols. Everything where you push a button and a killing tool comes out (bullet for example) I hate. I completely loath it. To me any kind of firearm is a sign of weakness. I mean if you read between the lines when watching an armed person it says something like this: "I am to weak to stand up for myself so I need a tool to do the job for me".
With this said I have to say that I'm by no means unfamiliar with guns. I am now a Swedish soldier and therefore I'm being trained to be as lethal as possible with my gun. In this case the gun is an Ak5 automatic rifle. The more I use it the more I hate it. Every single bullet I fire away reminds me of the purpose behind the gun. "To Kill".
Why do I reckon that using guns is a sign of weakness then? Well, because anyone could point a gun and push the trigger. Using guns is cheating!!!
