China

August 7, 2008

Today is a day for the lovers in China.

Chinese Valentine's Day lays on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month. So it is also called "the Double Seventh Festival" which  is one of the traditional festivals in China.

What is love? Everyone has his own opinion, as the following:

1Love is a beautiful dream.

2Love is sweet torment.

3Love is a great teacher.

4Love is a transitive verb.

5Love is the salt of life.

6Love is the touchstone of virtue.

7Love is a union of loveliness with truth.

8Love is the sweetest joy and the wildest woe.

9Love is a fool who knows not what he is saying.

10Love is a conflict between reflexes and reflections.

11Love is life in its fullness like the cup with its wine.

12Love is the child of illusion and the parent of disillusion.

13Love is an appetite of generation by the mediation of beauty.

14Love is an attempt to change a piece of a dream world into reality.

15Love is a canvas furnished by nature and embroidered by imagination.

16Love is not two people gazing into each other's eyes, but rather two people looking outward in the same direction.
