Hello everyone
In my English class, we interviwed people abut their county.
For this report I researched about Russia. As you know, Russia is the biggest country in the world.
I'm interested in Russia, so I asked people in Russia about their country. I got 6 responses to my questions.
The most popular singer in Russia is Dima Bilam. 4 out of 6 people said. He is a new Russian star and he won Eurovision Song Contest 2007. However all of them said, “I don't like Russian musician." They like foreign music such as Beyonce, Avril Lavigne, Green Day, Rammstein, Tokyo Hotel, and
Britney Spears. But I thought Dima Bilam is good looking.
I'd like to make Russian foods, so I asked them “What is a Russian cuisine that you learned from your mother or grandmother first?”
3 out of 6 people said “Borsch" and "Pelmeni ". Borsch is soup and it is
a traditional dish of Ukraine. Pelmeni is meat in dough. Also Pirojki is a
popular food in Russia.
I heard Russian girls eat "Kefir "for their health, so I asked them.
The result 5 out of 6 people said “YES”. Kefir is really good for our health, so some of Russian (not only girls) is drinking it.
What is Kefir? It is a kind of thick milk food, products. Thanks to Kefiric Mushroom the milk becomes Kefir. Kefir was born in the Caucasus area.
Kefir is so healthy food, but 5 out of 6 people said, “I don't like it because it is sour.” I thought the sour could make a lot of Russian beauty!!
I learned about the weather of Saint Petersburg. It is one of my favorite cities.
St-Petersburg has a lot of rain days than other city in Russia, so the city is usually gray.
It means, it's not raining all the time, but the sky is gray (cloud).
" When the sky became sunny it is like a gift and people have good smile", a my Russian friend told me.
I also learned that 6 out of 6 people are interested in Japan. They want to go to Japan someday.
All of them want to know about Japanese culture, Sakura, Sushi, and very modern infrastructure. They also want to try Japanese foods.
Russia sounds like a great place. I saw a lot of pictures on Google. The buildings so beautiful and classic, just like a castle!! Also I felt that people in Russia is very kind to people. They gave me detailed comments for my
questions, and now I really want to go there. Hopefully I can meet some of my Ebaby friends!!
Thank you all I thank you from bottom of my heart for you!!
Thank you for read this. Have a good day:)
