Let me teach you something about this thing called love.
Love is nothing but a temporarily phase in which you lose your sight on reality.
Therefore, when in love, we feel emotions for things that aren't real. Love is a self induced drug that makes you see things that aren't there, makes you make decisions that you normally wouldn't. Love changes ones personality. That's why love songs are nothing more than meaningless words with a beat written by a junkie that is in love with things that aren't real.
But, let's be realistic, we love being in love. Even though love is always a lie, the intense bond and great feelings we get from it can't be denied. When in love, we feel euphoric, we can take on any problem in the world. We think that nothing can rip that apart. All our feelings will remain the same, people won't change.
Atleast, that's what we think. But as I said before, it's a lie. We lie to ourselves when we think that everything will turn out all right. We lie to ourselves when we say we'll be together forever, that we'll grow old together.
Now, I realise how depressing this might sound to the most of you because probably half the people that read this are "in love" and therefore will not believe a word I say. Well dear junkies, let me tell you something. There is no happily ever after. Trust me. Denying it is pointless.
But I am no sadist, I will let you live in your dream world where everything is fine and dandy for just a little longer. Come see me when you realise that everything I say is nothing but the cold, bitter and harsh truth.
