floating boat

 life being easier,
if everything's always familiar;
heart could hardly break,
once change happens nowhere;
change can move the nature,
boat is still floating on the water,
but alters its color.

people have memories,
good ones and bad ones;
how the facts change reforges the songs,
maybe you choose not to sing along,
it did change the melody for long;

never can i imagine what the wind may bring to me,
always i hold on to my faith,
just like the man of "cast away",
kept on struggling on the island,
year by year,
never could he have thought the ocean brought him a board,
and be found by rescuer;
made him a survivor;

so i fight to find what's next,
keep on making a boat,
which i believe can take me to float on the ocean,

complain is the way to release feelings,
but i won't buy it any more,
life is unfair,
i live to see the truth,
fate seems cruel,
i live to be living,
for no one but myself;

a floating boat needs its bay,
i need my family and friends,
i used to live in the past,
those flash-back memories are sweet,
things changed,
my heart fell apart,
what the world did to someone is really awful,
i have been living in the shadow for that long，

so long,
it's quite an experience,
inspiration comes nowhere but your heart,
i finally realized i needed to pack up and go on my way,

everyone is living on this floating boat,
lots of the young still consider it as an peaceful backyard pool,
knows nothing of its fierceness,
it'll show it all of a sudden,
waves come sooner or later,
luckily,
i still have hope,
i still have close people who wish me the best,
i still here thinking,
with my hands gripping the gunnels of this brand new floating boat.
