I have been rather busy recently. our dean invited two German
professors and a Chicago Professor to make some lectures to us, which
we all think was very beneficial to us. On one side, it helpd to
broaden our horizon and have a global eyesight, thus we could
understand textbook theories better and link them to reality issues,
which is very necessary fou us economics and finance majored students.
On the other side, it gives us a good opportunity to learn English. We
were enforced to listen to and speak English in their classes.
Especially when we have problems and confusions, we must ask in
English. So we must learn to speak out and express our viewpoints in
English. Gradually, I think everyone in my class has improved a lot.
Also it gave us a conception that we must have a good English to better
communicate with foreign frofessors. Now there has been a very good
atomosphere in our class to learn English well.
Among the three professors, I like Professor Stefan Collinon the most.
He has already given us more than ten lectures, from philosophy to
economics. He is very talktive and expressive. He can explains his
ideas logically and detaily, thus we can follow him better. If we have
any comfusions about what he was talking about, he would explain again
and again until we all have followd him. We like communicating with him
and he is always very patient for our questions and glad to chat with
us.
