Hmm.. they rather can’t stand the drought.
Plants in the first, second and the 4th pics like damp and shady land.
In the third pic, I think they can tolerate dryness and strong sunlight better than others.

What about tropical plants? Do they grow whenever they want?or people make them grow in certain place?
All of the trees I took their photos are well taken care by gardeners here.
They are not so dificult to grow. But most of them need lots of water to make them look healthy.
So, they are so green and growing fast in rainy season.
In summer, gardeners have to supply them enough water. Otherwise, some may die.
In most case, once they die, they won’t re-grow (from underground root) again.

Whose monument is it?
It is the monument of Prince Father Mahidol Adulyadej, Prince of Songkla.
He is the father of our present King.
He was also regarded as the father of modern medicine and public health of Thailand.

The leaves are green, can they become yellow or red?

Some of them will turn red, maybe, in the next few months! ( I’m not sure which month :P).
I will take a photo of them for you when their color change :)
Anyway, below is an old photo from a website that I can find as for now.

I wonder if I could see the window of the place where you live.
Well, actually, the windows at my lab on 11th floor of ..one building (my second home :P), also at my apartment, have the same kind of view. That is a view of another buildings. _

So I decided to descend to the ground and take the view of the garden for you instead :/
In the recent few years, new buildings were built up and they block most of nice views from my building.
Before that, from the side that faces the river, we can see a nice view like this one from our building;
