I know this country isn’t even close to Jakarta (Indonesia). However the article about street children living there I read today may also depict what these kids have been through: They say that 5000 street children live in this city. They have to work six or seven days a week, although most of them are only between 9 and 14 years old. Per month they gain 10,00$. On average! That means they sometimes get less money! Most of them haven’t even received the term of semesters that actually gets regulated by law, meaning that their future may not be to different from their present situation…However developing countries like this one don’t like any intervention by Europe or North America. They are way too poor to be considerate of street children having to do hard work. After all they depend on these cheap workers.
