It takes, but a few seconds to hurt people you love......it can take them a lifetime to heal from that hurt

You can hurt any person( loved or not loved) within a few seconds.
About healing, everything depends on a person. For some, really, it takes a lifetime ( and it’s only their fault, that before death, they still hold the grudge), but some are easygoing and forget about the incident the next day as nobody perfect and that helps them live happily and easily. Let the bad things go, fill up the soul with better things, don’t keep the offence.
