it is life in which we can face evry thing , we can not control our lives ,we cannot chose what we want to face. pain is a part from this life as love and happiness and many thing else , we all love to learn from love as you said but pain can teaches us alot , and i want to say that wihtout the sadness we will not appreciate the moments of happiness and love and give them their real value right? pain gives the real meaning of what really love and happiness is .

But it’s better to be stronger, happier and aware without pain.
The only pain I accept is in the expression “no pain, no gain”.
The other pain is alien to me and I never wish anyone to exprerience it no matter what it “teaches”.
A person is stronger, happier, aware and more sensitive with LOVE. Only that feeling can teach, but not pain.
