every blue moon= rarely
easy come easy go= means what u gain easily u lose easily
keep your enemies close but your friendsn closer= means that u have to be careful of ur friends more than ur enemies bec u don’t see it coming
an apple never falls too far from its tree= it means like father like son
every cloud has a silver lining= it means that there is always hope even in the darkest days
*barking dogs seldom bite= it means that not the ones who talk and threaten u should be scaried from but the ones who don’t.

boggle the mind/mind boggling = amazing, shocking, sth incomprehensible

to be in right/positive/wrong/negative frame of mind for sth = to be in good or bad mood to do sth

 to be snowed under with sth = had a lot of work for example and have no time for other things, to be snowed under with work

to be on cloud nine = to be in 7th heaven = feel on top of the world

to shower (someone) with gifts = give someone gifts

to be in flood of tears = to cry 

have one's hand full with sth = i have my hands full with all the wedding preparations for example , have a lot of work

sth makes my blood boil = sth makes me very angry
