Belly up:

           If things go belly up, they go badly wrong.

Pain in the neck – Someone or something is very annoying and always disturbing you.

Have a ball:

   If you have a ball, you have a great time, a lot of fun.

Some popular American idioms:

To hit the roof: to get angry

To hit the road: to leave

To call it the day: to stop working for that day

Red tape: bureaucracy  

I know an old chinese proverb:"birds of a feather flocks together".This proverb means that people of the same character always playing or working together!It is always used in derogatory sense !

Eye for an eye:

     This is an expression od repitutive justice, where the punishment equals the crime.

Pardon my French:

This is what someone will say if they accidentally say a profane word in English and are meaning to apologize. 

I have heard it used both sincerely (someone actually wanting to apologize for swearing) and sarcastically (someone who is really not sorry for swearing but is trying to make a mockery of the fact that someone may have been offended by what they were saying).
