2 SvetLANA: Thanx a lot! I've learned a new word. My variant about small and little is actually:

very-very small = tiny
ex.:Once upon a time there was a teeny-tiny woman who lived in a teeny-tiny house in a teeny-tiny village ...

very very big = huge !

my house is huge.

small -  midget

The navy now has a midget submarine and there is a diminutive person operating it.
