Hi ! I am a teacher .. Well , I used to take the roll at the beginning of the year , my students used to say "present" or "here" .. then just after a short period of time , I have learned the names and faces of my students , I don't need to call everybody to check their presence..I start my lesson , and when I assign a task , they start working , so I check wheteher they are all present or not .. I sometimes ask them "is anyone absent?", thus they answer me ..
