Hi everybody, how many times did a black cat crossed your way, or what happend the day when you broke a mirror? Are these things simple accidents or do you realy believe it may happen something bad then?
All i know is that every country has some superstitions, what can you tell about your country's superstitions, do you believe them?

Somehow I think superstitions are similar all over the world. Sports teams usually have a routine that will 'guarantee' a victory. Golfers and hockey players all have ideas about what will help them win. Is Friday the 13th a superstition everywhere? How about sidewalk cracks? (Step on a crack, break your mother's back!) Some of these superstitions border on OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). Interesting question, I wonder why no one has responded to it. Maybe it's bad luck!!!

actually i don't beleive in 'bad luck' as you mentioned, i think superstitions stop your abilities, make you weaker. And yes, Friday the 13th is also a superstition in my country, but i have good luck in this day and moreover it may happen funny things then.

Interesting topic. In my opinion, nothing extraordinary happens on Friday, 13th. I have a black cat and he crosses my way very often. Nothing bad happens… I do not believe in coincidence or bad luck, Therefore I am not able to write much, sorry!

Well, in our country most of the elders believe in superstitious belief especially those who lives in the far flung areas.  They practice it.  Well, there is nothing wrong with it.  It is part of life, all we need to do is be positive to achieve our goals in life.

Alice, as i understand the effect of history events that occured between our two countries
can be felt even in superstitions. I mean, all that superstitions you've listed are very
popular in my country too.
