Intro

John

Dave:  John, have you ever been in a fight?

John:  No, not since middle school or something, you know, when you push people around.

Dave:  Yeah.

John:  What about you?

Dave:  Not since high school. I got in one fight in college, but most of my fights were in high school.

John:  What was going on that you were getting in those fights?

Dave:  Usually, you know, I was, I was fighting off the bullies for the weaker kids.

John:  Oh.

Dave:  I was kind of one of the guys who liked to look out for the smaller guy. I’m not a big guy myself, but I can throw down when I have to.

John:  So you’d go toe-to-toe with some of the, ah, the bullies in the school.

Dave:  Yeah, yeah. And I only, I only got worked over one time.

John:  Now, I kind of see you as someone who might fight dirty. Is that true? Or do you go…

Dave:  When you’re fighting, you know, it’s no holds barred. But I usually try to keep it on the up and up.

John:  But you’ve kind of grown out of that since then, right?

Dave:  Yeah, I don’t fight anymore.

John:  I don’t have to worry about getting popped in the nose?

Dave:  As long as, you know, you walk the line straight with me.
