As a well-known actor, Jack Nicholson has met a lot of interesting people. He even met the Beatles, but he doesn’t remember. When a person gets really drunk, he or she often forgets things. Nicholson said he was “loaded,” but he could have used any number of other slang words that mean intoxicated. Here are a few.
wasted
trashed
smashed
hammered
tipsy
sloshed
Man. That sounds rough. Any of these words can be substituted anywhere the word “drunk” could be used. You could say, “Let’s get loaded” or “I hate being tipsy.”
