Do you still deceive yourself?

Although I'm a honest man, I still sometimes deceive myself. and you? 

 there are various reasons that people deceive themselves,may be they are not confident enough ,so they try to decevie themselves to make them feel better,maybe they are under big pressure ,this would relieve them a little bit.Sometimes it's just another way to encourage themselves,perhaps it makes them to feel that they are closer to their goals

Yep..I do it.. I say lie to myself.. I detain myself..

Because ı don't want to allow some things.. So I have to lie myself..

There's saying here – "You can deceive anyone except yourselve". Your soul have been with you all the time and know everything about you. How to cheat yourselve? Getting escape from reality or neglecting troubles around us cannot say as deception in that sense.  The matters is just forgot, ignored or neglected.
