Derived words....

Friends,

In this thread we can discuss about words which seems to be derived from other words,

Like the word 'revision',which we use revise our lessons is derived as 're-vision',which means 'to see again.

In the same way we use word 'disease' as a express sickness,it seems to derived from 'dis-ease',a state of not at ease.

so many words like 'review','news' & 'diappointment'.

Connection between words 'patience & patient'.

Friends,I don't know about the priciples of linguistics but we can discuss about the feeling we have about such words.

We can discuss about words & their meanings in this thread.

I feel that meaning of word 'Research' is that we are looking upon it 2nd time as existence has knon it before us & we are re searching something.
