The video is what was released. I starts from the moment the first soldier landed on the ship. Here’s the information I received here in Israel during a quick seminar yesterday. There were 6 boats, 5 of which were simply peaceful far-left protesters. The other ship, the one from Turkey, was filled with violent Islamic radical protesters who, as the video also shows, were preparing for a fight and got one. Most were peaceful protesters, others were not. As is clear, Israel let the passengers even on the Turkish ship return because they are foreign citizens. Israeli troops did not just suddenly come on to a ship start shooting random people. Soldiers were armed with paintball guns because they were not even expecting a fight. After severe violence, they were given the order to fight back with the pistols they were carrying to defend themselves. Several Israeli soldiers were wounded, one seriously. Peaceful protesters don’t do that. This episode proves to me once again, that the world, especially the Arab world, makes judgements before even knowing any of the facts. Israel was right to do what it did.
