Placebo fans

Hi! Do you like Placebo music just like I do? I'd like to talk about what do you feel about their songs, have you any memories connected with some of them?

When I'm listetning to their songs, it's opening a new world behind my eyes and I feel something strange inside :) :) 

The first song I heard was also "20 Years", honestly it haven't impressed me much. I started loving Placebo, when I heard In the cold light of morning, it was some time ago, I was sitting in front of my pc, having a huge hangover, it was about 3:00 am and it was raining outside. A magical moment. This song still makes me cry 

I first hear song "Every You, Every Me". it was in 2001. summer. When they was in first concert in Latvia. I saw in TV, interwiev. And from that time I can't live without them. First time when I saw they in live was in concert 2006. 29.05. Latvia. It was amazing!!! :):)...

My "Placebo love" started with "Every me, every you", too. I think they're amasing!
Is that true that the band split up??

the first song I heard from them was when I was at a friend's house after a photographic session =P.. And she said that one of my pics looked so "placebo"... Then I asked her to tell me what of their lyrics were more related with what i was feeling at the time (i had broken up with my boyfriend).. And reading the lyrics I found the perfect phrase: "I know, the past will catch you up as you run faster"

So I uploaded the pic to my fotolog together with that phrase, and when I came back home I started downloading tons of their songs.

I love a song.. I don't remember its name, but it started like this: "the sea's evaporating, though it stands as no surprise. this clouds we're seeing lead explosions in the sky…" or something like that. I guess it was "Sleeping with ghosts". I just adore it.

by the way, I know the band since 2004 or 2005. =P

 And now that I remember, the first song i heard was "every me and every you", but I wasn't into music at that time and didn't pay attention to the band…

I also love "Protect me from what I want" (ok that's the main phrase so I guess it's the name of the song)... It's too perfect to be real.

I'm quite uncool; I first knew them when their Battle for the Sun released.

But at first i knew them, I love them so much.

Placebo is unique: great lyrics, fantastic voice, awesome rythm.

Though it's quite late for the forum, I just say "love Placebo."
