Steph: Do you know anything about Donnie Darko, that movie?
John: Is that the one with Johnny Depp?
Steph: Um, yeah. I think he’s in that movie. I’m pretty sure anyway, and he gets possessed by the giant bunny rabbit?
John: Oh. Well, I’ve heard it’s kinda weird. That does sound weird.
Steph: Yeah. It’s a really weird movie. So, um, it was pretty interesting, though, to watch.
John: Oh. So just saw it.
Steph: Yeah. I saw it last week. So, I’d been wanting to see it for quite a while and, um, I just decided to rent it and bring it home and. It was good.
John: Could you follow it? I mean, was it too freaky?
Steph: No. It wasn’t too freaky. It was just, um, you kind of had to be in the right mood, you know? It was a little bit of sci-fi.
John: Do you recommend that I see it?
Steph: Definitely. I liked it at the end you know. It was a little bit weird. And I wish that, ya know, maybe, I had had, um, ya know, some friends there that were a little bit weird too. But I was alone so it kind of scared me.
John: Oh yeah. Well it definitely sounds like a movie that makes you think so I’ll check it out.
Steph: OK. Cool.

So, we were wrong about Johnny Depp being in this movie. He was in a movie called Donnie Brasco. It sounds similar, so we got confused.
Sometimes, when you’re talking to people, it’s easier to just say ‘yeah, maybe that is right’ than to stop what you are talking about.
Anyway, this movie was pretty great. Even though it was a little scary, it was worth watching.
