Derek: Say, Steph. Have you, uh, heard about that new movie, Sin City?
Steph: I’ve heard about it. I’ve heard it was pretty cool, like kind of comic-booky.
Derek: Yeah. There’s a very artistic atmosphere to it. Kind of like the Frank Miller comic books it’s based on.
Steph: That’s really cool. How do they do that anyway?
Derek: I’m not sure. I’m sure there’s a lot of computer manipulation going on. I think I heard something about, ya know, the actors having to act when there wasn’t something there.
Steph: Wow! So did they overdub their voices?
Derek: I don’t think so. Just the visuals.
Steph: Oh. That’s really interesting. Have you seen it?
Derek: Um, not yet. But, ya know, I’ve seen enough about it. And I watched some specials on it. And it seemed like it would be a pretty interesting movie. And, like, Mickey Rourke plays the main guy. He looks pretty cool. It doesn’t even look like Mickey actually.
Steph: Wow! I think I wanna see it just it just for the technology.
Derek: Yeah. Definitely. Kind of an artsy feel.
Steph: Yeah.

I remember when I was a kid and the film Roger Rabbit came out. It was so amazing to me that you could have cartoon and real human actors on the same screen.
Look at how far we have come! This movie is supposed to be a great rendition of the comic book.
It’s supposed to make you feel like you jumped straight onto the pages of the book. I am going to see it this weekend for sure.
