Featured on the Black Eyed Peas’ album Elephunk, “Where is the Love?” is a song about peace, love and politics. The guys from Black Eyed Peas are confused and sad about the state of the world, and they want to change it. The lyrics in the song express their opinion about war, race and the government. Check out some of the lyrics:
Whatever happened to the values of humanity
Whatever happened to the fairness and equality
Instead in spreading love we spreading animosity
Lack of understanding, leading lives away from unity
That’s the reason why sometimes I’m feelin’ under
That’s the reason why sometimes I’m feelin’ down
There’s no wonder why sometimes I’m feelin’ under
Gotta keep my faith alive ‘til love is found

Discussion

I’ve been a Black Eyed Peas fan for years, and I think Elephunk is their best album yet. Like Justin Timberlake in “Where is the Love?” several guest artists are featured in other songs, each of which is great.
Rock on,
Migs
