Sara: So, guess who I saw at breakfast the other day?
Steph: Who?
Sara: The lead singer of Everclear.
Steph: Oh, you’re kidding!
Sara: Yeah. He made me really, like, nervous. And I felt so weird cause he was so famous.
Steph: Really? I think they have a song called Nervous and Weird.
Sara: They do?
Steph: Yeah. I heard something about it. It was like in Rolling Stone or something. It’s either a song or the title of their album.
Sara: Oh. OK. I’ve never really heard it. But he’s pretty cute. I have to say.
Steph: He is pretty cute. He’s a good-looking guy. He’s pretty, well sometimes he’s blond and sometimes he has brown hair, doesn’t he?
Sara: Yeah. He’s kind of a chameleon that way.
Steph: Yeah. He’s a total hottie. I think he’s got all the girls in Portland just totally excited.
Sara: Totally!

You can’t blame Sara for feeling nervous and weird about meeting a rock star, especially a good-looking one like the lead singer of Everclear. Everclear was a pretty popular band in the 90s and still produces pretty successful music and has good live shows. They are from Portland. So, it’s not too out of the ordinary to see them out and about. Do you have any famous people who come from your town or city?
