John: So Kyle, have you picked up the new Shins CD?
Kyle: No. I actually bought the old one after watching, uh, the Garden State
movie.John: I think that’s the same one.
Kyle: Really?
John: Yeah.
Oh. I thought there was, uh, two CDs now.John: Oh yeah. You’re right. There are two. Do you know they’re coming to town?
Kyle: No. When’s that?
John: I believe it’s in a couple of weeks. But it’s already sold out. They’re playing at the ballroom.
Kyle: Cool. Crystal Ballroom.
John: The Crystal Ballroom. Yeah.
Kyle: All right. Are you stoked?
John: I’m not going man. It’s sold out.
Kyle: Oh. I thought that you got tickets before.
John: No. I totally missed out. I might go down and try to scalp some tickets though.
Kyle: Oh. Good idea. Be careful with that man.
John: Why?

Here in the US, when shows are really popular, some people buy extra tickets so they can sell them at the show for a higher price.
These people are called scalpers and can be seen outside of shows, usually standing near the box office. It is not legal to scalp tickets so people have to be very secretive about it.
Why should John be careful about going to pick up some scalped tickets?
