John: Oh, how was it?
Dave: Ah, it was really good. Um, a little different than the original with Gene Wilder but it was…it was good.
John: Oh yeah, this has Johnny Depp in it, right?
Dave: Yeah, Johnny Depp…ah…I don’t remember who else is in it. But, it was a good movie.
John: Now, did you read the book?
Dave: Yeah, I have read the book.
John: How’d it compare?
Dave: It followed the original book…ah…very closely.
John: Oh, cool.
Dave: Yeah.
John: So, would you recommend it?
Dave: Yeah, I would recommend the movie. Um, I’m a big Johnny Depp fan so it was nice to see him in…in this role.
John: Yeah, I’m a big fan of his as well.
Dave: Yeah.
John: And he did a good job, I assume.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a modern remake of the 1971 classic starring Gene Wilder. The newer version uses technology to create colorful scenes and cool special effects, though the older version is more similar to the book. You should check out both movies, and read the book. This is a great story.
