You can use “dive in” to describe the effort it will take to make something happen. Many things can’t be done unless you “dive in” and do what it takes to be successful. For example, you can’t learn English unless you “dive in” and focus your energy and efforts. You can do it, but it’s going to take a lot of time, concentration and hard work. When you “dive in,” you’re making the commitment to doing whatever is necessary to achieve your goals.
