New Year’s Eve is a very big party night in the U.S. Every year there are many things to do. This means there is always a big decision.
Last year Migs and John didn’t have the best New Year’s Eve. They’re hoping to find a party that’s a little more fun this year.
This lesson shows their conversation about plans for this year. Check it out!

Miguel: So dude, what are we going to do for New Year’s Eve this year?
John: I have no idea. Last year was kind of lame, so hopefully we can do something fun.
Miguel: I heard about a huge party, like, out on a farm, but you know it’s almost like a rave-style party and I don’t know if I have the energy for that.
John: So, would it be outside?
Miguel: No, it’s actually in a farmhouse and there’s going to be a couple DJ’s I guess, but, I don’t know. There’s a lot of bands playing too (at other places), so it’s hard to make a decision.
John: Well, how do we find out more information about this?
Miguel: Well, I just heard about it from a friend so I’ll have to call him back and ask him more questions.
John: Well, if other people are into it, the rest of our friends, then I’m in too.
Miguel: Yeah, that’s the way I feel. If we can get a big group of people to roll out there then it will be fun no matter what.

I’m not sure if Migs and John have decided what they’re going to do for New Year’s yet. Migs has an idea, but they don’t know if it’s the best idea.
Do you have plans for New Year’s? What do you usually do to celebrate? Will you stay at home and be mellow, or go out and get crazy? Either way, here’s to a great new year.
Take care and have a great New Year’s Eve!
