Hi Friends!
As we all know, hair is an important part of a person’s individual style. Many people spend hours upon hours doing their hair every day. There are lots of ways to change your hair. You can cut it, color it, bleach it, style it, braid it, perm it, curl it, tease it, and do any number of other things to it. Anna recently talked to Josh about something her sister did to dramatically change her hairstyle. Read on to learn all about it!

Josh: So what’s this I hear about your sister getting hair extensions?
Anna: Yeah, my sister has short hair, has had short hair for years, and recently was attending a formal event and wanted to put it in an up do, and her hair wasn’t long enough, so she bought hair.
Josh: That’s pretty cool. Can I do that? Is my hair too short? How does it even attach to your hair?
Anna: Anyone can do it. Most retail shops have it right now, and she luckily had the color matched perfectly, and it’s a clip that goes in, and then went she went to the hair salon they actually twisted it, um, and used hairspray, but something funny kinda happened.
Josh: What happened?
Anna: Well, they went to curl the fake hair with a curling iron, but it wasn’t real human hair so it melted all over the curling iron and they had to cut a big section out.
Josh: That sounds aweful!
Anna: Yeah, but they were able to fake it, pin it in and, uh, it looked very nice in the end and I don’t think anyone knew her hair was fake.
Josh: Well, maybe they didn’t, but I’m going to think twice before trying that myself.
Anna: Alright.

Sounds like hair extensions aren’t as simple as they might have seemed. It’s a good thing Anna’s sister was able to make her hair look nice after the curling iron melted part of it.
I’ve never tried hair extensions, but they seem like a fun way to make a temporary change. If I want to go to a party or special event, I might think about putting in hair extensions just to spice things up.
Have a great week!
