Intro

We forget most of our dreams. But every once in a while, one will be unusual or disturbing enough for you to remember it. Especially if something happens to remind you of it.

Marni is sitting around with Mason and Devan talking about her trip to Vegas. When she starts to talk about the strange dream she had while she was there about Devan having cancer, she suddenly has a realization. Watch her facial expressions.

3. Watch - Watch the video without reading the dialog.

1. Listen and Read - Listen to the audio and read the dialog at the same time.

Devan

Marni: Oh my God, you guys, Vegas was so amazing. I had such a great time.

Mason: Cool. Did you win anything?

Marni: I won like fifty bucks, you know. I came out ahead, but really…Really, what did I win? A boyfriend. He was totally awesome.

Devan: Congratulations.

Mason: So, you’re going to hold on to him?

Marni: Yeah. It worked out really well. Like, we really, I think, hit it off. I think we’re real into each other.

Devan: That’s awesome.

Marni: Yeah. I think so and you know, it was great. We went to all these casinos and just had a really good time and…You know, actually I…The one really weird thing that happened. I had a really weird dream about you when I was there.

Devan: Really?

Marni: Yeah.

Devan: What did you dream?

Marni: Well…It’s weird because you were wearing this sweatshirt and…

Devan: Well, I do wear this a lot, but…

Marni: Well…

Mason: I wonder why everybody always talks about their dreams? It’s not as cool hearing about it. What’s the problem? You have a dream she was a dolphin or something?

Marni: No. I…

Mason: Whatever.

Marni says that her trip to Vegas was good. Then the hoodie Devan is wearing reminds Marni of the dream she had in which Devan wore the same thing and told her that she has cancer. She looks at what Devan is reading and notices it’s an article about cancer. Could it be true?

Devan and Marni stare at each other and have a moment. Marni mouths something to her and she nods. Can you read her lips?

While Marni is realizing that Devan has cancer just like in her dream, Mason is waiting for her to finish her story. Oblivious like he has been before, he asks if the dream was about a dolphin and then forgets about it.

What do you think happened? How did Marni dream that Devan had cancer without knowing about it first?

You need a big part of black humor to find something to laugh in this soap opera. So Mason's last sentence did creating a little smile in my face (every time -when I hear the word "dolphins" – I remember a part of "The Simpsons" as dolphins wanted to get world domination… ... but the basic story here is a very dramatic tragedy and not funny.

She might have asked Daven if she, Daven, has cancer, and Daven noded yes.

Marni could be a sychic person, and Daven may have

cancer for real, but she doesnt know it yet. Usually sychic people dream, and the thing they dream of

happens in real life. So Daven might have cancer, which I would hate it and feel bad for that to happen.

Let us hope she does not have it, and Marni's dream was just like any other dreams.

one day, idreamed the question in my interview,but at that time,i took it serious though it was a dream.so i do some preparations.

like me, i always day dream:i have lots of money and give up my study to live on mobile life.

maybe it is too difficult for me ,but i will manage it!

dream is mysterious enough, and is hard to explain .why can it mix so many things happened previously up and create a different scene and even show something in your mind that you'd never understand. for some people, they might dream one dream for a long period of time. it is all unexplainable.

There are people with sufficient sensibility to see things beyond the reality…And in this fiction Marni is one of them…She saw that your friend Devan was sick in your dreams,but she didn’t belive of first…She had the confirmation when she saw what Devan was reading…Sinister! :D
