Back in March, English, baby! did a lesson on the Rihanna and Chris Brown scandal. Many Ebaby! members expressed their concern for Rihanna after hearing that Chris Brown, Rihanna’s longtime boyfriend, had been accused of assaulting her. But some members also felt that the public should mind their own business and stay out of the singers’ private lives.

Now Brown is responding to all the negative attention he’s gotten from the public and the press. He says that anyone who has been saying bad things about him is just a hater. Haters are people who are negative toward someone else for no reason, or because they’re jealous of that person’s success. The slang player hater is similar, but it’s more specific. Player haters criticize guys who date lots of women.

Chris Brown says he isn’t a monster and that people who criticize him are doing it for no reason or because they envy him. Meanwhile, his assault trial will start soon. Chris better hope the judge and jury aren’t a bunch of haters!
