One celebrity is pretty interesting. But when two celebrities fall in love and become a Hollywood power couple, suddenly they both become twice as fascinating. At least that’s what the tabloids think.

It makes sense that movie stars often date other movie stars. Meeting your boyfriend, girlfriend, or spouse at work is pretty common. It just so happens that for movie stars, the office is film sets and photo shoots.

Regardless of exactly how two stars meet, the public seems to love to hear about the ups and downs of famous couples’ romantic lives. It’s hard to say what people are more interested in reading about, famous couples getting married, or famous couples getting divorced. Find out which celebrity couples Amy and Ella love to gossip about.

Amy:  Did you hear that Eva Longoria Parker and Tony Parker are splitting up?

Ella:  I did. I’m pretty much shocked by it. I didn’t see that one coming.

Amy:  I didn’t either, not at all. You know, there have been a lot of breakups of other celebrity couples in the news lately. But at least Eva and Tony Parker, they weren’t really my favorite Hollywood power couple.

Ella:  They’re not the most interesting one. Not a lot was going on to keep the interest going.

Amy:  Yeah, my favorite celebrity couple is, you know, it’s kind of an obvious one but Brad Pitt and Angelina. They’re so weird that I just love hearing about them. And they’re such high profile stars, and it’s just kind of fun.

Ella:  And it helps that they have cute kids. You can always look at those.

Amy:  Who is your favorite celebrity couple?

Ella:  Hands down, Jay-Z and Beyonce. I respect them the most out of Hollywood. He was on Forbes and she’s really high profile, but you don’t know anything about them.

Amy:  They really stay out of the spotlight. I wonder how they’re able to do that, like how they’re able to keep their relationship more private. It seems like that’s really hard to do in Hollywood.

Ella:  Especially when they’re young, too. It seems like older couples in Hollywood you don’t really hear much about. But they’re still pretty young and you don’t know anything about them at all.

Amy:  I don’t know what their secret is, but it seems like they’ve got staying power.
